I wanted to capture a wrapped, enclosed sensation — like being tightly swaddled in a blanket while sleeping, where suffocation and safety coexist. Cocoon give me that feeling.
When I was a child, I often spent nights alone, and this story begins with a little girl facing a night on her own.
